Nairobi, Kenya – In a significant step toward advancing Kenya’s green economy and youth employment, Pamoja for Transformation (P4T), in partnership with the GIZ-WE4D project and in collaboration with the WTS Foundation and the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), has successfully developed the E-Mobility Curriculum for Electric Vehicle Assistant Technician II – National Skill Certificate (NSC) II, KNQF Level 3.

Today, our Executive Director Mr. Kadenyo, officially handed over the finalized curriculum to NITA, represented by Centre Manager Mr. Fidelis Odumo. This landmark curriculum is set to equip young Kenyans with the technical and practical skills needed to thrive in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) sector.
P4T will lead the pilot implementation of the curriculum, training over 180 young trainees across the country. In line with its commitment to inclusive economic transformation, the pilot will prioritize at least 50% young women and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Participants will not only receive high-quality technical training but will also be linked to industry players for mentorship, entrepreneurship support, and direct pathways into the job market.
This initiative marks a critical investment in Kenya’s future workforce, aligning national skills development with global sustainability goals and the country’s transition to clean energy mobility.
Together, we’re driving change—one skilled technician at a time.
