Building the Resilience of Small Sized Enterprises to cope with implications of COVID19

The project aims to enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of existing small-sized enterprise (SME) owners in Nakuru, Turkana, Nairobi, Migori, and Kisumu Counties. The specific objectives include retaining existing jobs, increasing employment creation prospects, improving income, and enhancing the well-being of individuals living in poverty. To achieve these objectives, the project will focus on strengthening the entrepreneurial, financial, and business management skills of women and youth owned SME’s. By enhancing their skills and knowledge, these individuals will be better equipped to expand their businesses, increase their income, and withstand economic shocks. Additionally, the project aims to generate employment opportunities by supporting the growth of the small-sized enterprises.

Overall, the project seeks to strengthen SMEs, improve livelihoods, and contribute to the achievement of multiple SDGs related to poverty reduction, employment, and gender equality.
