Building Socio-Economic Resilience among Youth for Sustainable Peace and Cohesion

The project plays a crucial role in supporting the reform process of at-risk youth by providing them with alternative livelihood options. This program acts as a pull factor, attracting and empowering youth to pursue positive change and sustainable livelihoods. It offers peer mentorship opportunities, where reformed individuals become independent and self-sufficient in meeting their needs. These reformed individuals serve as champions for change, inspiring and motivating other struggling youth to break free from violence and negative influences.

Furthermore, the project facilitates the identification of socio-economic needs among the youth and establish direct linkages with other stakeholders, including national and county governments. This collaboration with various actors enhances the socio-economic transformation process for the youth, offering them greater opportunities for growth and development and create an enabling environment that facilitates the socio-economic transformation of the youth, leading to long-lasting change and empowerment within their communities.
